Safety Training

Basic equipment operation requires
- An individual to read a tutorial and pass a quiz followed by onsite certification (learn more about safety training here).
- Supervision by either an EIH teaching assistant or EIH staff member is also required during operation.

Advanced equipment operation requires
- An individual to take 1x1 training with an EIH staff member and demonstrate competency. Competency varies by the experience of the individual. To receive training on an advanced piece of equipment, you must email Joseph Perri (jperri@nd.edu) with the following information:
- Your name
- When you recevied your basic safety training
- What equipment you would like to use
- Why you would like to use this equipment
- What the project is for

Remember, absolutely no equipment / tools shall be removed from the EIH.
