Supervision by either an EIH teaching assistant or EIH staff member is also required during operation.
High risk equipment operation requires
An individual to take 1x1 training with an EIH staff member and demonstrate competency. Competency varies by the experience of the individual. To receive training on an advanced piece of equipment, you must email Joseph Perri (jperri@nd.edu) with the following information:
Your name
When you received your basic safety training
What equipment you would like to use
Why you would like to use this equipment
What the project is for
Supervision by an EIH staff member is required during operation.
Advanced Manufacturing space
Supervision by an EIH staff member is required in the Advanced Manufacturing space to ensure the safety of all Students, Staff & Faculty.
Remember, absolutely no equipment / tools shall be removed from the EIH.
